Tenet Healthcare facilities include hospitals, urgent care centres, diagnostic imaging centres, surgery centres and freestanding emergency departments. After the acquisition of Vanguard Health Systems Inc. in 2013 it has become the third largest investor-owned hospital company in the USA in terms of revenue and the third largest in number of hospitals owned.
