HomeServe PLC (HSV) is a home emergency repairs company headquartered in Walsall, UK. HomeServe was founded in 1993 by Richard Harpin and South Staffordshire Water as a joint venture. The company’s primary services included emergency plumbing and drainage cleaning. Later, the business de-merged from South Staffordshire Water and started operating independently. HomeServe has expanded its initial home assistance products from plumbing and drainage cleaning to include HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning), electrics, water and gas supply pipe, locksmith and pest infestations services. Currently, the company collaborates with over 500 utility providers and other strategic partners that offer related services and products. Its operations cover the UK, the US, France, Spain; it also has a joint venture in Italy. The HomeServe share price is listed on the London Stock Exchange and included in the FTSE 250 Index.
