Treasury bond ETFs hit multi-year lows as bond yields surge

** Yield on US 30-year bond briefly hit highest since 2004; yield on benchmark 10-year maturity at highest since July 2007

** Government bond yields have surged lately due to inflationary concerns coming from the oil spike, worries about the US' fiscal health and increased chances of future interest rate hikes
