SNG: The Egyptian Exchange halts trading on October 8 for Armed Forces Day

Arab Finance: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) will suspend trading on Thursday, October 8, in celebration of Armed Forces Day and the anniversary of the 6 of October War victory, according to a statement.

The EGX will resume trading on listed companies on Sunday, October 11, 2026.

Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly announced next Thursday as a paid public holiday for government employees in place of Tuesday, October 6.
