Larsen & Toubro’s (L&T) Power Transmission & Distribution (PT&D) business has secured multiple engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) orders in India and the Gulf to strengthen power infrastructure and support renewable energy integration.

In Saudi Arabia, L&T won contracts in the 380 kV transmission and substation segments. The projects will increase transmission capacity and support renewable energy evacuation, strengthening the kingdom’s grid.

In the UAE, L&T secured an order to construct 132/11 kV substations along with associated cabling works.

In India, the company won an order from a private-sector developer to establish a transmission system in Visakhapatnam, comprising transmission lines and substations.

Joji Sebastian, Executive Vice President & Head – PT&D, L&T, said: “These order wins demonstrate the breadth of PT&D’s engineering and execution capabilities and the ability to deliver complex power infrastructure solutions across geographies. With the growing demand for grid strengthening, renewable energy integration and associated infrastructure, we are leveraging our technology, project execution expertise and global presence to deliver value for our esteemed clients”.

L&T’s PT&D business provides end-to-end EPC services across transmission and distribution infrastructure, including transmission lines, substations, underground cable networks, distribution systems and power quality projects.

The latest orders reinforce its role in supporting grid expansion and renewable energy integration across key markets.
