SNG: Egypt: EFIC posts 41.8% YoY hike in H1 2026 standalone profits

Arab Finance: Egyptian Financial and Industrial Company (EFIC) recorded a 41.83% year-on-year (YoY) increase in standalone net profits in the first half (H1) of 2026, reaching EGP 343.823 million from EGP 242.404 million, according to the financial results.

Sales increased to EGP 3.602 billion in H1 2026 from EGP 2.353 billion in H1 2025, whereas earnings per share (EPS) jumped to EGP 3.12 from EGP 2.19.

On September 7, Medfert Misr restructured part of its ownership in EFIC, selling 25 million shares to NAS Investments Holding Limited for EGP 5.012 billion.
