TRADING STATEMENT
In terms of paragraph 3.4 (b) of the Listing Requirements of the Namibia Securities Exchange, NBL shareholders are advised that the Group’s operating profit, for the six months ended 30 June 2026, is expected to decrease by between 20% and 25%; basic earnings per share is expected to decrease by between 20% and 25%; and headline earnings per share is expected to decrease by between 20% and 25%, compared to the comparative financial period.
Domestic volumes remained resilient for the six months, supported by stable local demand and the continued strength of the Group’s brand portfolio within a competitive trading environment. The decrease in the reported metrics was primarily driven by reduced exports to South Africa following the contractual end of the minimum supply arrangement during the current year.
This trading statement has not been reviewed or reported by NBL’s external auditors and NBL shareholders are advised to exercise caution when dealing in the Group’s shares until publication of the interim financial results for the six months ended 30 June 2026.
The Group´s interim financial results will be released on NENS on or about 25 September 2026 and in the press on or about 28 September 2025.
