Mitsubishi Materials sees 18% drop in H2 copper output

- Japan's Mitsubishi Materials Corp 5711.T plans to produce 142,284 metric tons of refined copper in the second half of the 2026 fiscal year, it said on Thursday, down 18% from the same period a year earlier.


  • The country's second half falls between October and March.

  • The expected decline in copper output is due to maintenance at the company's Naoshima and Onahama refineries, it said.
