Medtronic climbs on oversubscribed MiniMed share swap

** Shares of medical device maker Medtronic MDT.N rise 2.8% to $90

** MDT says its previously announced offer to exchange MiniMed shares of MDT shares was oversubscribed

** Following the exchange offer, MDT will no longer own any outstanding MiniMed shares

** MDT first announced its intent to spin off its diabetes business, which is named MiniMed Group MMED.O, last year

** MiniMed shares down 4.3% to $19, down about 5% from its March 6 IPO price of $20

** Including session's moves, MDT stock down 5.1% YTD
