SPACE STOCKS: PLENTY OF BELIEVERS, FEWER BUYERS

It still may be early days for space stocks, at least when it comes to investor positioning.

After five days of meetings in the United States and Canada, Berenberg found growing conviction that space will be a long-term beneficiary of rising defence spending and national security priorities.

Yet ownership appears to lag investor enthusiasm, leaving significant potential buying power on the sidelines.

"Investors recognised space as a structural priority for government budgets, although we believe ownership still lags that recognition," wrote Berenberg analysts led by Michael Filatov .

Specialists increasingly view space as a key component of the next-generation warfare ecosystem alongside AI and drones.

Generalist investors, however, are still looking for clearer visibility on profits before committing capital.
