Indian engineering and construction company Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has secured multiple engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) orders for power transmission infrastructure in Saudi Arabia and the UAE, the company said on Monday.

In Saudi Arabia, L&T's Power Transmission & Distribution (PT&D) business has won contracts covering 380-kilovolt (kV) transmission and substation projects.

The projects are intended to increase transmission capacity, facilitate renewable energy evacuation and support the integration of renewable power into Saudi Arabia's electricity grid, the company said.

In the UAE, L&T has secured an order for the construction of 132/11kV substations and associated cabling works.

The press statement didn’t disclose customer details or contract values.
