Faraday Future climbs after robotics unit deal, strategic upgrade into robotaxi operator

** Shares of US EV firm Faraday Future Intelligent Electric FFAI.O rise 27.6% to $1.78 in extended trading

** Co plans to evolve its automotive business from an EV manufacturer to a robotaxi shared-mobility operator.

** Co also says AIxC AIXC.O proposes to acquire FFAI's robotics assets at about $200 mln valuation, aiming for a standalone Nasdaq listing of the robotics firm

** AIxC to change its name to FF EAI Robotics Ecosystem Inc. on September 30, with ticker changing from AIXC to FFR.

** FFAI Robotics business projects revenue of approximately $7.1 mln in 2026 and approximately $45.17 mln in 2027.

** Up to Monday's close, stock had fallen nearly 99% YTD
