First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB), the UAE’s largest lender by assets, has priced its debut benchmark-sized, digitally native green bond in the local currency market.

The lender set the final pricing on its three-year AED-denominated green notes at 75 bps over the three-year AED swap rate. The transaction is scheduled to settle on 15 October 2026 and mature on 15 October 2029.

The deal was arranged by Emirates NBD Capital, First Abu Dhabi Bank, HSBC, ICBC (Asia) and Standard Chartered, which acted as joint lead managers and joint bookrunners. Standard Chartered is serving as billing and delivery bank for the transaction.

The Regulation S offering carries expected ratings of Aa3 from Moody’s and AA- from both S&P and Fitch, in line with FAB’s issuer ratings. The notes will pay a fixed-rate coupon and are expected to be listed on the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX).
