Xiaomi Corporation is a Chinese electronics company with headquarters in Beijing. The founder and CEO, Lei Jun has been at the helm of Xiaomi Inc. since its very beginning in 2011. It hit the spotlight with its smartphones but its range of products has spread across mobile apps, laptops, and related consumer electronics. It currently employs over 15,000 people over two continents and seven different countries. Xiaomi shares have been hitting the headlines since 9 July, when the tech giant held its IPO ceremony in Hong-Kong. The Chinese company had a weak debut but has since managed to regain terrain.
