Shares in housebuilder Countryside Properties gained over 3% on Friday, leading the FTSE 250 index.
As at 11.00 GMT, the stock was the best performer across the FTSE 250, putting it on course for a more-than 5% rise over the week.
On Wednesday, the group reported a strong set of full-year results with earning surging by around 80%.
Sales leapt to £846m in the year to September versus £671m in the prior year, with profits rising to £141.7m compared with £78.7m in 2016.
Countryside also issued an upbeat outlook for 2018, claiming that it was continuing to see strong demand from owner-occupiers for its homes.
