Struggling Netherlands-based telecoms group Altice has agreed to sell its telecoms solutions business and Swiss data centre operations to France-based private equity firm InfraVia Capital Partners in a $218m deal.
Included in the transaction are its telecoms services business green.ch and its data centre operation Green Datacenter.
Green.ch provides private and business customers with internet connections, hosted, cloud and multimedia services and data backup solutions.
Green Datacenter offers data centre services for medium-sized and large companies in Switzerland, across Europe and on a global basis.
Last week, ratings agency S&P Global Ratings lowered its outlook on Altice from stable to negative.
Altice continues to suffer from worries over its huge debt pile and operational problems in France, its largest market.
The shares have slumped by nearly 60% over the past month.
Altice shares traded at 6.75 on Friday, as at 11.25 GMT, a 1.72% increase on the session.
