Unilever targets $1.12 billion in savings as it reshapes business
Nov 3 (Reuters) - Unilever ULVR.L said on Tuesday it aims to deliver productivity savings of €1 billion ($1.12 billion) by the end of 2029 as it overhauls its operating model to become a focused home and personal care business.
The savings will address costs arising from the planned combination of its foods business with McCormick, expected to complete by mid-2027, as well as organisational simplification, process redesign and technology initiatives.
Following the implementation of the new operating model, Unilever said it would report across three categories — beauty & personal care, home care and other.
