By Reuters News

** Shares in Norwegian Air Shuttle <NAS.OL> are up 3% at 0935 GMT, climbing gradually since the market open, after the carrier posted its third-quarter core earnings ahead of expectations

** Adjusted EBITDA came in about 7% above consensus, with brokerage Pareto Securities pointing to lower-than-assumed fuel costs, FX and hedging effects

** Pareto also highlights a marked improvement in booking momentum, with winter ticket sales running well ahead of last year

** The broker says current yield pressure appears temporary, and it expects fares to improve as sector capacity growth and hedging headwinds ease from December onward

** While unit costs came in slightly above forecasts, unchanged FY 2026 guidance suggests limited implications for earnings estimates, Pareto adds
