Hyundai Steel launches H ONE brand for H-beams

By Maekyung News Service

Hyundai Steel has launched H ONE, a unified brand encompassing rolled and welded H-beams, as the South Korean steelmaker seeks to expand its presence in the high-value construction market amid growing demand for advanced structural steel products.

The company said Monday that it recently held a launch event for H ONE at Pangyo Tech One in Seongnam, south of Seoul, marking an expansion of its business beyond rolled H-beams (RH) to include built-up H-beams (BH).

The new brand is designed to help Hyundai Steel respond more quickly to increasingly diverse customer requirements as construction trends evolve.

Demand for H-beams with varying dimensions and structural performance characteristics has been growing alongside the expansion of large-scale construction projects, including artificial intelligence data centers (AIDCs), semiconductor fabrication plants, skyscrapers and major logistics centers.

AIDCs, in particular, require structural components capable of supporting heavy loads, large cross-sections and nonstandard dimensions to accommodate extensive server installations, cooling and power infrastructure, and advanced equipment.

“Leveraging H ONE‘s product portfolio and our ability to respond to customer needs, we will address a wide range of demand for H-beams,” said Kim Sung-min, executive vice president and head of sales at Hyundai Steel.
