Denmark announces plans to acquire JSM missiles

By Oslo Stock Exchange

The Kingdom of Denmark has today announced its intention to acquire KONGSBERG's Joint Strike Missile for its fleet of F-35 aircraft.

Denmark is the seventh nation to select the JSM. The scope and value of the contract will be determined by negotiations with the customer. KONGSBERG will update the market after a contract has been signed.

The JSM is a 5th generation stealth air-to surface missile, which can be carried internally in the F-35A thus ensuring the aircraft's low-signature capabilities.

The JSM has been selected by Australia, Canada, Germany, Japan, Norway and the United States.

KONGSBERG (OSE ticker: KOG) is an international technology and defence company that delivers critical products and solutions in defence, security and surveillance on land, underwater and in space.
