APR expands US reach with Medicube launch at 400 Costco stores

By Maekyung News Service

South Korean beauty company APR said Monday that its flagship skincare brand Medicube entered approximately 400 Costco stores across the United States this month, accelerating its expansion in the American market.

The company introduced its popular Zero Pore Pad in an exclusive promotional package for Costco and plans to add products from its PDRN skincare lineup in the future.

APR has rapidly expanded its US retail presence, entering about 1,400 Ulta Beauty stores last year before extending distribution to more than 1,500 Target locations and approximately 3,000 Walmart stores this year.

The company also plans to enter about 3,000 CVS Pharmacy stores by the end of the year.

APR’s North American revenue reached 647.9 billion won ($483 million) in the first half of this year, up by more than 260 percent from a year earlier.

APR plans to expand Medicube’s presence to all Costco locations in the United States before gradually entering Costco stores in Canada and Europe.
