BRIEF: For the fiscal year ended 31 December 2021, UniCredit SpA interest income decreased 4% to EUR12.7B. Net interest income after loan loss provision increased 43% to EUR6.91B. Net income applicable to common stockholders excluding extraordinary items totaled EUR1.51B vs. loss of EUR2.96B. Net interest income after loan loss provision reflects Commercial Banking Italy segment increase from EUR208M to EUR2.56B.
