Australia shares set to tick lower at open, NZ down
Sept 21 (Reuters) - Australian shares are likely to open slightly lower on Monday after risk appetite was dampened by headlines from the Middle East, with Iran and the United States exchanging fresh threats over the weekend.
The local share price index futures fell 0.7%, a 20.2-point discount to the underlying S&P/ASX 200 index .AXJO close. The benchmark ended unchanged on Friday.
New Zealand's benchmark S&P/NZX 50 index .NZ50 fell 0.6% in early hours of trading.
