TomTom NV is a provider of navigation and location-based products and services that is based in the Netherlands. The Company operates through two segments: Location Technology and Consumer. The Location Technology segment consists of its Automotive and Enterprise businesses, which provide maps, navigation software and services as components to be integrated into customers’ applications. The Consumer segment offers driver navigation, including directions, guidance, information and inspiration for their journeys on the road. Its consumer products are portable navigation devices and mobile applications. The Company has more than 40 offices in around 30 countries.

Financial summary

BRIEF: For the fiscal year ended 31 December 2021, TomTom NV revenues decreased 4% to EUR506.9M. Net loss decreased 63% to EUR94.7M. Revenues reflect Consumer segment decrease of 17% to EUR113M, Germany segment decrease of 20% to EUR50.3M, Netherlands segment decrease of 47% to EUR10M. Lower net loss reflects Other Selling General & Administrative decrease of 23% to EUR89.1M (expense).
