Trade iShares Trust - iShares MBS ETF - MBB

The fund seeks to track the performance of the underlying index by investing at least 90% of its assets in the securities of the underlying index and in investments that provide substantially similar exposure to securities in the underlying index. The index measures the performance of investment- grade mortgage-backed pass-through securities ("MBS") issued or guaranteed by U.S. government agencies or sponsored entities. While MBS funds were at the heart of the subprime crisis, this product invests in liquid, stable bonds that are unlikely to default, pay out solid rates of interest, and provide valuable diversification benefits to a portfolio. In terms of diversification, the fund does a pretty solid job as it holds over 150 securities and its top ten holdings make up less than 15% of the total fund.
