What is the Macedonian Film Fund?
Established in 2006, the Macedonian Film Fund was set up in the Republic of Macedonia to help and support the Macedonian film industry. The aim of the fund is to support both the artistic and economic aspects of the country's film projects.

Formed by the Government and with a registered office located in Skopje, the Macedonian Film Fund officially began working in 2008 as a legal entity under the Film Fund Act. Funding is prioritised for Macedonian projects likely to achieve worldwide audience approval and international recognition in the hope that it will boost the country's filmic presence, as well as improve the overall quality of their film industry. In 2014, the Macedonian Film Agency started to work in 2014 as a legal successor of the Macedonian Film Fund.
