Founded in 1954 by two brothers, the company owns, manages, redesigns and leases over 120 large retail properties all around the USA. Shopping malls are the company’s most rented objects. GGP owns the Ala Moana Center in Honolulu, Tysons Galleria in Washington DC, the Water Tower Place in Chicago and Glendale Galleria in LA. General Growth Properties is listed on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) and is the S&P 500 index constituent.
