** Stock is top gainer on FTSE 100 index .FTSE, which is up 0.4%

** Co reports FY adj PBT of £572.8 million ($771.91 million) vs analysts' estimate of £540.3 million, according to LSEG data

** Co also reports forward sales of 11,200 homes, as of September 7, 2026, vs 10,593 homes on September 7, 2025

** However, BTRW trims its home completions target to 17,500-17,900 homes for fiscal 2027, citing planning delays and fewer sales outlet openings

** YTD, BTRW down ~22% vs 7% rise in FTSE
