A Category 5 hurricane striking the Miami or Tampa Bay area today could generate insured losses of $300 billion or more, shows a new Swiss Re Institute analysis marking the 100-year anniversary of the Great Miami Hurricane.

NESTLE SA NESN.S

Russian President Vladimir Putin has ordered the Russian assets of Nestle and French supermarket group Auchan to be placed under temporary administration, according to a presidential decree published on Thursday.

UBS GROUP AG UBSG.S

UBS would need to consider its future in Switzerland carefully if new banking rules ended up being so strict that it cannot compete, the bank's chairman said on Thursday.
