SNB's Schlegel says central bank still ready to intervene despite franc weakening
BERN, Sept 24 (Reuters) - The Swiss National Bank remains ready to intervene in foreign currency markets, Chairman Martin Schlegel said on Thursday, but he declined to say whether this would be to weaken the currency or support it.
The Swiss franc has depreciated in recent months, but the central bank was still ready to intervene in forex markets, Schlegel said.
