- One of the liquefaction trains at Cameron LNG, the US liquefied natural gas export plant owned by Sempra Infrastructure SRE.N, is offline for planned maintenance, the company said on Wednesday.

Natural gas deliveries to the Louisiana facility fell by about 700 million cubic feet per day on Wednesday from Monday's levels, indicating that one of the plant's three LNG processing units, known as trains, was not operating at full capacity.

"Cameron LNG is performing scheduled maintenance on one of its trains. LNG production and gas flow are expected to fluctuate during these activities, but we do not anticipate any disruption to service our customers," Sempra said in an emailed statement.

Feedgas nominations to the plant were about 1.3 billion cubic feet per day (bcfd) on Wednesday, down from the roughly 2 bcfd the facility typically consumes when all three trains are operating, according to LSEG data.

Located in Hackberry, Louisiana, Cameron LNG is a three-train export facility with a nameplate capacity of 13.5 million metric tons per annum. Sempra Infrastructure owns a 50.2% stake in the project, while affiliates of TotalEnergies, Mitsui & Co and Japan LNG Investment hold the remaining interests.

Cameron LNG is one of the largest LNG export plants on the US Gulf Coast. The United States is the world's largest exporter of LNG, and outages or maintenance at major export terminals can temporarily reduce domestic natural gas demand.
