RUSSIAN HELICOPTER

A Russian military Mi-8 helicopter made a brief incursion into NATO member Poland's airspace from the Russian exclave of Kaliningrad, the Polish Army Operational Command said on Wednesday.


DATA

Poland's registered unemployment rate remained flat at 5.8% in August compared with 5.8% in July, statistics office data showed on Wednesday, in line with expectations.


EBRD

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has maintained its economic growth forecasts for Poland at 3.5% for 2026 and 2.8% for 2027, the PAP news agency reported.


WIBOR

The Polish bank mBank MBK.WA is removing WIBOR from its new mortgage loan offerings. It will be replaced by POLSTR, which is currently lower than the previous indicator, Rzeczpospolita reported.
