Oil stocks rise as crude gains on Trump rejection of Iran peace deal

** Crude prices rise ~2% after US President Donald Trump reject Iran's peace deal to resolve conflict and reopen the Strait of Hormuz

** Brent futures tick up $1.68, or 1.6%, to $106/ barrel; US West Texas Intermediate crude was gain 1.8% to at $94.10/barrel

** Energy majors ExxonMobil XOM.N and Chevron CVX.N shares inch up 1.5% and 1%, respectively

** Chevron CVX.N, Occidental Petroleum OXY.N, EOG Resources EOG.N and Conocophillips COP.N advance 0.6% to 1.4% each; among the top percentage gainers on the energy index

** Refiners Phillips 66 PSX.N and Valero Energy VLO.N up 0.6% and 0.8%
