On July 30, 2026, Coastal reported second quarter 2026 financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, "including net loss of $42.1 million, or $(2.76) per diluted common share, compared to net income of $12.0 million, or $0.78 per diluted common share, for the three months ended March 31, 2026". Additionally, Coastal stated that "[t]he net loss is primarily attributable to a $68.8 million credit expense related to a single, isolated CCBX partner relationship."

Following this news, the price of Coastal stock fell $30.75 per share, or 43.5%, to close at $39.91 per share on July 30, 2026.
