By Reuters News

- Drug-packaging maker Gerresheimer GXIG.DE reported a lower core profit for the first half of 2026 on Wednesday, as weakness in its Moulded Glass business and lower demand for injection vials weighed on performance.

The German company reported preliminary half-year earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation of €168 million ($191 million), compared with €210.4 million a year ago.
