GenFleet hits over 3-week high as cancer drug makes progress on BTD list

** Shares of China-based innovative drugs developer GenFleet Therapeutics (Shanghai) Inc 2595.HK jump 9.4% to HK$31.14, their highest level since August 31

** GenFleet announces the regulatory progress related to the proposed inclusion of clinical program of a combination therapy for treatment of metastatic colorectal cancer into the Breakthrough Therapy Designation (BTD) list

** Company says clinical program evaluating GFH375 combined with cetuximabe was placed on the proposed BTD list by the Center for Drug Evaluation of China's National Medical Products Administration on September 18 while the public comment period will conclude on September 24

** Company says it will release preliminary data from the study evaluating GFH375 in combination with cetuximab for the treatment of solid tumors on October 15, and its overseas partner Verastem Oncology will introduce the overseas clinical progress of GFH375/VS-7375 on October 14

** YTD, stock up 25.1%, Hang Seng Biotech Index .HSBIO up 16.2%
