French diesel release at 3.6 million barrels so far
PARIS, Nov 6 (Reuters) - France has released 3.6 million barrels of diesel stocks, which is just over a third of the total pledged amount, from its strategic reserve so far in the first week of release, the French energy ministry said on Friday.
France is expected release 10 million barrels of diesel total from its strategic reserves in a bid to ease pump prices after fuel costs surged in the wake of the US-Israeli war with Iran.
