Europe Gasoline/Naphtha-Gasoline refining margins recover

By Reuters News

- Northwest European gasoline refining margins rose by about $9 to $42.03 a barrel on Thursday, recovering from their lowest level in a month in the previous session.

  • In the Argus window, 12,000 metric tons of Eurobob E5 barges traded, with ExxonMobil and ATL selling to BP and TotalEnergies.

  • Shell, Total and Exxon sold 12,000 tons of Eurobob E10 barges to Varo and BP.

  • Gasoline stocks independently held in the Amsterdam-Rotterdam-Antwerp (ARA) refining and storage hub declined by 1.5% to 826,000 tons as export cargoes departed for West Africa and the US, data from Dutch consultancy Insights Global showed on Thursday.

  • Switzerland authorized withdrawals from mandatory jet fuel reserves to address a looming supply shortage at Zurich Airport FHZN.S, the government said on Thursday.

  • US gasoline stocks rose by 3.5 million barrels in the week to 208.3 million barrels, the Energy Information Administration said, compared with analysts' expectations in a Reuters poll for a 0.5 million-barrel draw.
