** Oil prices fell slightly as markets weighed the possibility of a truce between the US and Iran against the bombing of Saudi Arabia by Houthi rebels after a week of price spikes O/R

** Whitehaven Coal WHC.AX, Yancoal Australia YAL.AX and New Hope Corp NHC.AX shed between 1.6% and 2.8%

** YTD, sub-index up 28.6% including the session's moves
