** The hearing implant maker says it has been served with shareholder class action in the Supreme Court of Victoria over its fiscal 2026 underlying net profit forecast

** Company says it has denied the allegations outlined in the claim and that it would defend the proceedings

** Says claim has been launched on behalf of persons who acquired interests in Cochlear shares between August 15, 2025 and April 21, 2026

** YTD, Cochlear stock down more than 45%
