Trade Gasoil Spot

Price constructed using front two months of Gasoil futures.

Each day at 21:59:55 UTC, the undated commodity price is adjusted to reflect the difference between the settlement price of front- and back-month futures. At the same time, a matching cash adjustment is applied — ensuring the overall position remains neutral as the roll progresses. This cash adjustment is fully offset by the running profit or loss on the position.

Obtained by the fractional distillation of petroleum, gasoil is an oil distillate, which stands between lubricating oil and kerosene by its viscosity and boiling range. It is widely used as the heating oil and diesel fuel. The product produces 12% higher power than gas, however, it is not so explosive. In general, gasoil is derived from petroleum and its boiling range is higher than the boiling range of gasoline. Get real-time data on the gasoil prices at Capital.com.
