Hess Corporation (HES), or simply Hess, is a global producer and marketer of natural gas, natural gas liquids and crude oil. Hess operates both onshore and offshore, extracting natural deposits from the Stampede field in the Gulf of Mexico. In all, the company has 24 offshore fields worldwide. In 2016 the company was featured in the Fortune 500 list. Hess has been a S&P 500 constituent since 2009, and a member of the Global 500 Carbon Disclosure Leadership Index. Hess Corporation is listed on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE). The company is headquartered in New York.
