CROBIS

CROBIS is the official bond index of the Zagreb Stock Exchange in Croatia. It tracks the performance of 10 bonds with fixed interest rates and maturity of at least 18 months, each with a nominal value of at least 75 million euro.

The index is mainly targeted at professional investors, who use it as a tool to value the returns of pension and investment funds while also gaining a clearer picture of bond market trends overall.

What you need to know about CROBIS.

The Zagreb Stock Exchange began publishing the index on October 1, 2002 with the base value set at 100. It’s a capitalisation-weighted index, where the weight of any individual bond issue is limited to 35% of the index capitalisation.

CROBIS is calculated once a day after the close of trading, and revisions to the index are carried out four times a year on the last Friday in February, May, August and November.
